1. Who is responsible
ACON Academy is responsible for personal information collected through this landing page. Questions, access requests, corrections or consent withdrawals can be sent to info@aconacademy.ca.
2. Information collected
When you submit an enquiry, ACON Academy collects your name, phone number, email address, French-learning goal, current level, campaign attribution when present, the page and referring URL, and technical information needed to protect the form from abuse. The system stores a one-way hash of the submitting IP address rather than the raw address.
3. Consent record
The form requires an affirmative checkbox. The system records the consent wording, policy version and UTC time with the lead. You can withdraw consent for future contact at any time by emailing ACON Academy.
4. How the information is used
- Respond to your enquiry and explain suitable French programmes, placement steps, schedules and fees.
- Contact you by phone, email or WhatsApp about the enquiry you initiated.
- Maintain admissions follow-up records and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Protect the form, investigate abuse and meet applicable legal obligations.
5. WhatsApp and external services
After the lead is saved, the page can prepare a WhatsApp message for you. You decide whether to send it. If you continue, WhatsApp/Meta processes the message under its own privacy terms. Links to Google, Instagram, YouTube and the main ACON website are also governed by those services' policies.
6. Storage, access and retention
Enquiries are stored on ACON Academy's protected server and are available only through the authenticated admissions dashboard and authorized server administration. Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for admissions follow-up, administration, legal obligations and dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymized.
7. Sharing
ACON Academy does not sell, trade or rent enquiry information. Information may be shared with service providers supporting hosting, communications or admissions operations under appropriate safeguards, or when disclosure is required by law.
8. Security
Safeguards include encrypted HTTPS transport, server-side validation, rate limiting, hashed network identifiers, restricted database permissions, password-protected administration, secure sessions and consent audit records. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable Canadian and British Columbia privacy law, you may request access to or correction of your information, ask questions about its use, withdraw consent for future contact, or request deletion where applicable. Email info@aconacademy.ca.
